I had a really unsettling experience with Dr. Winn Palmer. Although he’s a veterinarian, he also runs a side business that profits when people’s pets die. It really creeps me out, and it feels like a major conflict of interest, almost like going to a doctor who also runs a morgue. I can’t trust him with my pets and won’t be returning.

I don't recommend! If you have to use them don't bother making an appointment, walk ins get preference. This used to be such a great place. They used to take good care of our babies but we will never go back. We had an appointment for 11. Stopped them off, returned around 330 because it normally only takes 3 hours and that's what they said when we stopped them off. We tried calling but nobody would answer the phone. When I got there the girl said they had too many walk ins so they hadn't started either of our dogs yet. She assured me they would be no more than another hour and a half. I picked them up at 430 and neither one has been touched yet. So 5 and a half hours, no food, no water, no potty breaks, and then she tells me the AC has been out all day. My poor babies. Please don't use this place until they change their policies and hire better help.

Excellent veteranary clinic. Doctors and staff are knowledgeable and caring. They also have boarding facilities and grooming available. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this vetrinary hospital and clinic. Doctors are personable and very good with even nervous pets.

Dont go there if you love your pet they never took the time to even address my concerns my dog was deathly ill their plan was to clip his nails and give a shot he never needed he was a house dog yorkie told the girls in front he was so ill I needed Dr .Darby to try and answer more of my Questions they said she was too busy but they were not too busy to take my 2hundred ans 45 dollors they could of done blood work but they did not my cherished friend is dead hope you are happy Dr. DARBY AND staff with your uncaring attitudes you caused great suffering for my pet me and my husband

Dr. Darby is the best around. Trust her implicitly and as long as she’s in Northern Utah she’ll be my pet’s vet. Empathetic, smart, genuinely interested in my pet’s health and quality of life; other vet’s may be good too, but finding her was one of the best things I’ve ever done for my pet. Everyone at the front desk and all the people in back have always been fantastic. Would highly recommend Animal Care West to anyone with a pet.
