Our dog Angus would not be the same without David and the rest of the training staff at K-9 Academy. He went here for puppy camp when he was little, and we board him here every time we go out of town. Cannot say enough good things.

My dog had 3-week training at the former Payson location in 2021. She came back with a kennel cough and a chunk of her missing on her fact with no explanation. I also I observed her yelp in pain as they shocked her with an over 90+ correction for not sitting. I believe these trainers are overly harsh and I do not recommend them for caring dog owners.

I will recommend this place over and over again. My lab listens, obeys and is so fun to be around. We get compliments all the time at how well he behaves. We are so happy with his training.

These guys are the best! My dog went from being aggressive and having horrible behavioral issues to listening, being less anxious, and happier. He now has order in his life! We use to not even be able to have people over at our house and now we can and know how to help him not feel threatened! They also teach you everything you need to know for at home care and really want the best for your dog! We will recommend them over and over again!

I booked my German Shepherd (Koda) for the Dream Dog Board & Train program, and the results were incredible. It was truly night and day seeing how confident and obedient she was when she came home. Gina (one of the trainers) was amazing, patient, thorough, and so thoughtful when transitioning Koda back to us. She explained everything they worked on and emphasized how important it is for us to continue the training at home. I’ve also used Innovative K9 for boarding multiple times when we go on family vacations, and I love that they don’t just board her, they continue working with her while she’s there. It gives me so much peace of mind. Innovative K9 is worth every penny. I’ve already referred two of my neighbors, and they couldn’t believe how just a few weeks with Innovative K9 completely changed their relationship with their dogs. My only wish is that they offered more follow-up group classes in Utah County. They hold them often in SLC but rarely down south. It’s tough for us to make the drive, and I know Koda would really benefit from having more local options.
