The techs here were absolutely amazing. They have a passion for helping animals and their owners, and are what led me to give two stars. Dr Cliff Mitchell, however, was cold, didn't explain anything to me, did only a surface examination of a deep puncture wound, and recommended treatment that sent my cat to another vet the next day with a fever and infection that weren't there before I saw him. The facility is falling apart, and is not a proper clinical or sterile environment, and the doctor didn't follow the same cleanliness standards I have seen at other vets. I only went here for an after-hours emergency, but I will be waiting a day or driving to the 24-hour vet in Layton if I need urgent care again.

The Absolute Best Show-Quality Dog Grooming in Cache Valley! If you are looking for the gold standard in professional dog grooming, look no further than Eric at North Cache Veterinary Service in Richmond, UT. I live in Preston, Idaho, and I’ve been searching for a dog groomer near me that actually understands breed standards and high-end styling. I am so glad I made the short drive down to Richmond! Erik has an incredible amount of experience—you can tell he grooms show dogs because the attention to detail is unmatched. This is hands down the best and most even grooming job I have ever had. My dog looks phenomenal, and the cut is perfectly balanced from head to tail. It is worth every minute of the drive from Preston or Smithfield to get this level of expertise. If you want a show-quality groom from someone who is incredibly knowledgeable and gentle, Erik is the man. I won't take my dog anywhere else!
