PLEASE READ BEFORE BRINGING YOUR PET HERE **Posting this for a colleague*** Unfortunately a rapid cancer took ahold of her sweet baby feline "Mushu" and euthanasia was the most humane option for Mushu's current quality of life. This was an incredibly hard decision for the family to come to but they wanted to do right by Mushu and not let her suffer. From the moment they entered this vet clinic it was unprofessional, desensitized, and unorganized. During one of the most difficult, and heartbreaking times that a pet parent should ever have to go through was sadly rushed and emotionally traumatizing. A technician was coming in and out of what was supposed to be a private room. Dr. Utley was inconsiderate and extremely old school if you will, there was NO IV catheterization placement and that option was not even offered after questioning an intracardiac infection... The Doctor continued to stab Mushu several times in the heart attempting to "calmly" put her to rest. This was so wrong and heartbreaking and we pray this NEVER happens to another pet or family again. Please use caution, ask questions, and SPEAK UP for your pet!! WE STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET CLINIC :(
As always, the staff is caring and knowledgeable.
Dr. Utley was AMAZING. He was so caring, and took his time looking, and diagnosing our lame horse. His staff was very helpful and attentive as well. They treated us and our horse so well. We will be back. Thank you so much!
If you want phenomenal care for your pets, along with honest, thoughtful guidance, look no further than Doc Utley and Doc Taylor. We drive from Salt Lake to Richfield because the care they give our dogs is that exceptional.
