I have been to quite a few of the vet clinics in Cache Valley and I can honestly say none of them have had the quality of service and care that Heritage Animal Hospital has. About a year and a half ago I rescued a kitten from a junk yard and when I got her she was malnourished, worm ridden, and wounded. At that time we weren’t expecting to have an emergency vet visit and I ended up with a different vet at first who was very unhelpful and cold towards me when I said we didn’t have a huge budget. Because of this we ended up needing to go back and that’s when we ended up at Heritage. This time when I explained my situation they were extremely helpful and understanding. The veterinarian answered all my worried questions, even when I asked multiple times. Her leg wound looked pretty bad so I was worried about how it would heal, but he reassured me and explained the details when I asked for them. I recently had to go back because the same cat was having trouble going to the litter box and I luckily got the same vet, and yet again he was willing to help in any way he could. The receptionists and vet techs are also amazing there! I also have a senior cat who I’ve taken in a few times and called about a few more. The receptionists are very patient and willing to answer all of my occasional worried questions. They’ll even go as far to ask one of the veterinarians if it’s something I can take care of at home or if it’d be better if I could come in. This is a long review but I have one more example. My family has a cat who I’ve also taken in for them. He got an infection in his mouth because of a bad tooth and it swelled overnight to where it was affecting his eye. Something that happened overnight like that wasn’t something we were prepared for and when we took him in they needed an x-ray which is pretty pricy. I expressed my concern about payment to the veterinarian and she actually recommended I take him to get x-rayed at Bridgerland because it was cheaper, and that they could use the x-ray from there. This really stood out to me because they were willing to essentially lose business for the care of my pet. They then took excellent care of our cat and he healed up very well. On top of everything the clinic itself is always very clean. They’re all so welcoming as soon as you walk in. And they have individual rooms they take you in almost immediately so there’s no waiting in a crowded lobby that could further stress out your pet. I fortunately don’t have to take my animals in to the vet that often, but whenever I do I know exactly where I’m going. I truly wouldn’t recommend any other place over this one.
