My wife and I had to take a cat in on a Sunday for an injury. Fortunately not a particularly serious one, but one with high risk of infection. We chose UrgentVet partially because of the high rating, but also largely because they allow you to reserve a time slot online. If you've ever been to an emergency vet, especially on a weekend, you probably know how busy they can get, and how long it can take to be seen, especially for issues that aren't life-threatening. The online reservation system is helpful. I have to give them some grace due to the nature of the service they provide, but know that the online reservation shouldn't be considered to be a hard appointment time. It still took close to an hour after check-in to be seen by the DVM, but that's far better than our last experience at a different place (and given the other circumstances they were dealing with, which I won't share here, I completely understand why they were delayed). The tech and DVM who helped us were both friendly and caring, and demonstrated concern for our cat's comfort and well-being. They even had treats (Churu) and toys. While our visit was simple, I'm very pleased with the experience. This is a great emergency veterinary clinic.

Zander and Dr. Reinman were incredibly kind, compassionate, and helpful during a stressful situation. They helped us as soon as we walked in. They took the time to explain everything clearly and treated us and our pet with so much care. Highly recommend if you are ever in need of an unplanned vet visit!
